I lost my grandfather over this past weekend and we had the services today and I wanted to create something to symbolize him and what he meant to our family. A dragonfly symoblizes power and maturity. I colored this dragonfly in with blue like my grandfather in his dress blues (Marines) and every vein in the wing symbolizes a child, grandchild, or great grandchild.
