After the tragic death of the wicked witch of the east, the wicked witch of the west took it upon herself to punish the guilty party, Dorothy. The wicked witch of the west set traps along the yellow brick road to the Emerald City of Oz and killing all of Dorothy’s friends she meet along the way.

The book is a novel with some hand drawn illustrations inside. The book is very creative with all the different unique items in it like the Oompa Loompas. The cover illustration looks like stipple work.

The book has been recreated in film twice. The movies are very unusual items like background, a chocolate waterfall. The characters in the movies are in full make-up.

Horton Hears a Who children's book has hand drawn characters and backgrounds. The movie is an animation film. The film is very colorful with unusual characteristics that were inspired by the book.

The Cat in the Hat children's book is very popular connects with many children. It connects with children because of the hand drawn illustrations and the colors which you can see below.

In the movie the characters are humans with the cat in the hat being in a custom with full make up.

This children's novel is for an older audience. The only illustration in this book is on the cover of the book, which helps you visualize the characters throughout the book. This artwork is very unique it looks like hand drawn characters with water colors.

The movie was James and the Giant Peach was inspired by the book. The movie looks to be either animation or clay animation.

The children's book Cloudy with a chance of Meatballs is a classic. The art in the book reminds me of stipple art work. As you can see below. The book doesn't look like a typical children's book because of the dull colors. I think that the artist could have been more creative when creating the drawings and added more color.

This book was created into an animated movie targeted to children. Th movie seems more creative because of the vivid colors and the animated characters.
